MADS ready to make ‘History’

FOLLOWING the overwhelming success of ‘The Little Mermaid’ it’s now time for the older teenagers and senior members of MADS to take centre stage with the production of ‘A Peace Of History’.

The award-winning comedy play is the first time that Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society will have performed a play instead of a musical.

MADS Chairman Kieran Corr said: “I would like to thank Raymond Murray for letting MADS perform this play and it’s great that we have such a strong cast to perform in this show.

“MADS have called on the talents of Emma Watson, Laura Robinson, Nicola O’Hara, Aaron Murphy, Michael McAleenan, Eimear O’Neill, Claire and Emma Gorman to name just a few. “Caroline Henry one of the longest serving members will also perform in this production. This will be Carolines 14th with the drama group and she has starred in numerous shows for MADS.

“Caroline along with the rest of the cast have loads of experience and bundles of talent and they will make sure this play is up to the standard associated with the drama group.”

Tickets priced at £5 are now on sale for all three performances from St Anthony’s Centre and Print Business Supplies, Lurgan or by contacting the box office on 3831 6496.

The junior members of MADS return on Saturday, March 26 and if any new boys and girls aged eight to 13 want to join they will be more than welcome. The drama group runs from 10.30am to 1pm at a cost of £3.
