MAGHABERRY WI President Irene Culbert welcomed everyone and opened the meeting welcoming Steve from Travel Solutions who gave a very informative talk on different tours that they do.

He explained the different coach tours and places that Travel Solutions go to and showed slides of some of the destinations. Brochures for Jersey and Coach Tours were given out. He gave out a quiz to make sure that everyone had been concentrating and the winners were Sharon Coulter and Marion Sefton.

Nettie Cowan was awarded the Lisburn Shield for her contribution to WI as she missed the presentation at the AGM and the Carol Bones Salva for Craft was presented to Norma Lusty.

Supper was then served together with cakes to mark the 63rd birthday of WI.

Ballot winners were: Ann Henning, Penny Orr and Gillian Beattie. Birthday Girls were: Shirley Dew and Sandra McLorn.

New Members were welcomed Jean, Sharon and Dawn.

Christmas Outing on 1st December was confirmed.
