Mandela show for 3OH!3

3OH!3 return to Belfast on Friday night to play the Mandela Hall.

Making loud electronic-pop music, the band - Sean Foreman and Nathaniel ‘Nat’ Motte - are most famous for their collaborations with the likes of Katy Perry.

Named after the duo’s area code in Boulder, Colorado,the band’s 2007 self-released album fell into the hands of Matt Galle who flew the boys out to record with the brilliant producer Matt Squire.

3OH!3’s first single Don’t Trust Me crawled slowly up the charts for 15 months to attain a No. 1 spot, selling over 2.6 million tracks in the process.

Their dedication to putting on an epic and fun show every night was rewarded by a nomination for the 2009 MTV Performance Award alongside artists like Green Day, Animal Collective and Phoenix.

Earlier this year, they hit the studio to record their second album which has spawned the hit single, My First Kiss, featuring Ke$ha.

Catch them at the Mandela Hall on Friday night, June 3.
