Marathon man

SEAN Hegarty embarks on his comedy marathon on Monday.

The Lurgan laughter maker is attempting to do 12 stand up shows in 12 Lurgan bars over 12 consecutive nights.

The shows will act as preparation for Sean's one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival entitled ‘Don't Be A Comedian In NI While Drinking Your Buckfast Under A Bridge’.

The marathon begins and ends in the Cellar and the show will feature special guest warm-up acts every night.

Here’s the timetable for Sean’s comedy capers: Monday, June 14, The Cellar; Tuesday, June 15, The Corner House; Wednesday, June 16, The Courthouse; Thursday, June 17, The Batcave; Friday, June 18, The Woodville; Saturday, June 19, The International; Sunday, June 20, Reid’s Bar, Monday, June 21, Fa’ Joe’s; Tuesday, June 22, The Beehive; Wednesday, June 23, JP’s; Thursday, June 24, The Railway Bar; Friday, June 25, The Cellar.

All shows start at 10.30pm apart from Saturday, June 19 in The International when the show starts at 11pm. The final show will feature guests from BBC NI’s Find Me The Funny.
