Marconi Festival returns to Ballycastle starts on August 3

Sunday 3rd Aug sees the 14th Marconi Festival return to Ballycastle Seafront.

The programme of events will start of with a Car Boot sale at 8am, followed by Ballycastle Town Market from 11am - 4pm with Arts Crafts and Local Produce on offer.

Ballycastle CSSM will launch their programme of events as they start their programme for the week.

Curragh racing will take place in Ballycastle Bay from 2-4pm organised by Ballycastle community development group, and the North Antrim Model Aircraft club will put on a display of model flying from 2pm onwards.The PSNI, NIFRS and Ballycastle Coastguard will have displays while Ballymoney old vehicle club will provide a display of their cars and tractors.

Cllr Donal Cunningham will open the event at 3pm , events will also include a dog show Bonnie Baby Competition and a duck Race.

The evening will close with the traditional tug o war organised by Ballycastle Community Dev group at 7pm
