Marty T launches his new promo video

Lurgan singer-songwriter Marty T’s workload continues to grow with the forthcoming release of the promotional video for the title track from his ‘Escape From Nowhere’ EP.

The video will be launched at The International Bar this Saturday, and will be accompanied by live performances from Marty T himself, with support from fellow local singer DeeZee Campbell (Admission £5).

Marty explained how the story is a reflection of the lyrical content: “Basically, everybody at one time or another feels the need to escape from their current circumstances, and pursue a burning passion or ambition. But to actually do this can lead to conflict with people who may not understand or support the sacrifices you make to turn a dream into reality.”

One tried and trusted method for making dreams come true is hard work, and Marty’s roster continues to keep him very occupied and indeed, excited. Forthcoming gigs include Belfast’s Empire on Wednesday, July 31, Lurgan’s famous Joefest on Saturday, August 3, the Maiden City Festival in Derry on Friday, August and finally the North Lurgan Community Festival, Lord Lurgan Memorial Park, on Saturday, August 10.

He will continue his regular stints at bars all over town, meaning there’s no excuse not to check this naturally gifted troubadour’s mix of solo material and classic covers.
