Masquerade ball returning to the Guildhall

Engine House Events is bringing the Legenderry Masquerade Ball back to the Guildhall this December for “An Evening of Fantasy, Decadence and Dance.”

If the era of ball gowns, Venetian mask elegance and intrigue are to your taste, mixed with champagne and finger food, the classical sounds of a local concert pianist, followed by an eclectic mix of theatre, dance and music, all performed by local talent, then this is the event for you.

A spokesperson for Engine House said: “One particular highlight of last year’s ball was The Legenderry Masquerade Band, a group we proudly put together especially for the ball and comprised of some of Derry’s best local musicians.

“We’re excited to announce that the band will be making yet another appearance as part of this year’s entertainment extravaganza.”

Local businesses have united in sponsorship of a very special luxury charity raffle which will take place on the night and offering the masked attendees an opportunity to win some really amazing prizes whilst raising money for a worthy local charity, Aware NI Defeat Depression.

This year’s Legenderry Masquerade Ball takes place at the Guildhall on Saturday, December 13.

Tickets are now on sale from the Millennium Forum Box Office, Chocolate Clothing on Foyle Street and Boudoir Boutique on Carlisle Road.

Tickets cost just £25, including a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and a finger food reception (served 9-10pm) Entertainment begins at 9.30pm.

Doors open at 8.45pm and early arrival is advised.

There is no doubt that this years Legenderry Masquerade Ball will be another highlight of the Christmas calendar for the city. Get your ticket now while you still can.
