Masterclass series at Cinemagic

Cinemagic is launching a new summer industry masterclass series funded by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences. From the end of July to September, Cinemagic will be presenting five educational and industry based masterclasses, for 16-25 year olds, hosted by top professionals from the world of film.

The first two masterclasses will be hosted by cinematographer, John Schwartman, (The Amazing Spider-Man, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor) and producer, Joe Caracciolo, (The Wolverine, Marley & Me, The Devil Wears Prada), who are currently working on Dracula, which begins filming in Northern Ireland this summer.

The masterclasses will take place in Belfast, from 10.00am-4.00pm, on Saturday July 27, and young people who are interested in finding out more about the role of a cinematographer and a producer, in the filmmaking process, are invited to participate in the one day programme.
