Mastodon ready for Belfast date

American metal band, Mastodon, will be stopping off at the Limelight in Belfast on November 20 as they kick off their UK tour.

Mastodon was formed in early 2000 and is composed of bassist Troy Sanders, guitarist Brent Hinds, guitarist Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor. Many of their songs feature progressive concepts and unique instrumentation. Three out of the four members participate in vocals, creating a unique blend of singing styles and voices.

The band have just released their sixth studio album ‘Once More ‘Round the Sun’, which debuted at No 10 in the UK charts.

‘Once More ’Round The Sun’ was recorded in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Deftones) and is the follow-up to Mastodon’s critically acclaimed album ‘The Hunter’.

The band will be taking to the stage of the Limelight in Belfast on November 20 and tickets are on sale now from all usual outlets.
