Mayor launches ‘The Ultimate Road Racers Experience’

Ballymoney Mayor, Councillor Bill Kennedy, an ex road-racer, has launched “The Ultimate Road Racers Experience” developed by Awakin™ Digital Publishing

Speaking after the multi-media presentation launch event John Bustard from Awakin™ Digital Publishing, said: “this app, originally created to celebrate Armoy’s famous road racers, has some classic footage and interviews, charting the rise of Joey Dunlop and the famous Armoy Armada. I hope visitors will enjoy the smartphone experience, which is part of Go Explorre NI, you can download and literally ‘Go Explore!’. It will revolutionise the travel experience”.

Welcoming the new product Mayor Kennedy said: “There has been great advancement in the use of this new electronic media as a marketing tool. I congratulate John on the development of The Ultimate Road Racers Experience.

“The Tourist Board invite visitors to our shores to ‘explore more’. In this premier tourist region, where we have the a host of attractions along the causeway coastal route, there is much to explore and much to see and do. We will soon be welcoming many thousands of visitors and competitors to the relentless NW200 road race. In Ballymoney the Robert Dunlop Sculpture Fund will be unveiling a statue of Robert.
