An interesting mix of antique and more modern quality furnishings are included in McAfee Auctions Fine Furnishing House Sale at No.2 Meadowlands, Portstewart this Thursday.

Among the many quality pieces of antique furniture, and the many finer furnishings, from such leading brands as Old Charm, Wade, Parker Knoll, Stag and others, are a selection of drawing room, living room, dining room, conservatory and bedroom furniture.

As well as the usual furnishings the sale includes a John Broadwood upright piano, an oak cased granddaughter clock, a shaped front inlaid mahogany display cabinet, various small shaped front shaped front chests and open bookcases, double pedestal writing desk, pair of swivel reclining chairs and stools, paintings by William Cunningham, George W Morrison, Alymer Armstrong, Noel Shaw, Bobbie Anderson, W.H Burns and others, collection of Masons Ironstone, Royal Doulton Figurines, Coalport Figurines, Hummels, Waterford, Tyrone and other Crystal, Silver, Worcester, Dux, jewellery etc.

Other lots in the sale include, tea sets, canteens of cutlery, prints, table lamps, mantle clocks, oil lamps, books, linen, rugs, trouser press, chest freezer, lawn raker, back sprayer etc.

A nice selection of silver ware and pieces of gold and silver jewellery, including rings, bracelets, necklaces and a selection of gold and silver pocket watches, are also included in the sale.

The sale will be conducted by screen and catalogue in Portstewart Presbyterian Church Hall, Central Avenue, Portstewart at 7pm.
