McAfee office auction next Thursday

MCAFEE AUCTIONS has a very different auction next Thursday night – the contents of the office previously occupied by McAfee Ballymena, who have now moved to modern bright new premises at Market Road, Ballymena, and includes numerous pieces of pine furniture, nice prints, pine shelves, and a multiple of old memorabilia, together with a quantity of household furnishings, pine desks, office chairs, display boards etc.

The sale takes place on Thursday, July 5 on the premises at 14 Ballymoney Road, Ballymena (opposite the court house), with viewing taking place on the day prior, Wednesday, July 4 from 3.00 – 5.00pm and 7.00 – 8.30pm and on the day of the sale from 4.00pm.

Among the pieces of furniture included is an oak open top bookcase, two door bookcase, pine shelves, a selection of pine cupboards, bureau bookcase, pine clerks desk, six door pine cupboard, pine washstand, pine chests, blanket box, coffee tables, display cabinets, two door wall cupboard, large rocking chair, pine bench, pairs of mahogany chairs, occasional tables and chairs etc.

Among the smaller pieces are an old typewriter, flagons, books, lots of prints including a set of four hunting prints, other sporting and advertising prints, old implements, picnic basket, slim jims, jug and basin sets, brass pillar oil lamp, old scales, pair of corner brackets, horn gong, Vienna clock, mantle clocks, finger lamps, child’s chair, corner cupboard, bohemian crystal, Doulton figurines, nest of tables, mask jugs, two crocks, field glasses, trunks, blow torches, figurines, a standard and table lamps, wall mirrors including an overmantle, lamp desk, old wooden till, weighing scales, golf clubs, etc etc.

Office furniture includes, ‘L’ shaped pine office desk, pine desk, executive style and tub style office chairs, pine brochure displays, filing cabinets, two door filing cabinets, photocopier, scanner, unusual small items etc.
