Miss Ballymena crowned at Miss NI Heat

A bevvy of beauties descended upon Ballymena as the Open+Direct Miss Northern Ireland contest came to Gillies Bar and Grill at the Galgorm last week.

Girls from across the country competed for their place at the Miss Northern Ireland final in front of an astute judging panel which included model agent Alison Clarke, TV personality and former Miss Northern Ireland Zoe Salmon and Open+Direct representative John Kirkpatrick.

This year Ballymena will be backing Emma Zacharopoulou from Jordanstown who was crowned “Miss Ballymena” and Zoe Robb from Randalstown, who was chosen as “Miss Gillies.”

Both girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast’s Europa Hotel in May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of ‘Open+Direct Miss Northern Ireland 2014.’
