Music in Magheralin

MAGHERALIN Music Festival takes place this week.

The three-day festival at Ballymacbredan Road runs from Thursday to Sunday and is hosted by St Michael’s GFC.

Thursday night (June 23) is Unsigned Bands Night featuring The Jury Disagrees, Escape The Bill, Popside Lock, Deadlights, The MDA, Last Rush and Envisage.

On Friday night (June 24), the organisers are going for something a little different when they host a White Collar Boxing Night. In keeping with the music theme it’s been threatened some of the boxers may attempt to sing.

Returning to Magheralin Music Festival on Saturday night (June 25) are Bagatelle, who had the crowd on the feet and singing their hearts out at last year’s event. Warming up for Bagatelle are Chasin Hooley.

Sunday (June 26) is a Family Day featuring a pig on a spit, and food and music all day and through the night.
