Rebecca McGowan takes on the role of Tilly Hawkins. She is a young girl who dreams of adventure at sea and cannot believe her luck when she finds herself in possession of a pirate treasure map. Her sensible elder sister Annie, played by Emma Creelman, is less enthusiastic about life at sea, but nonetheless finds herself caught up in an unforgettable adventure.

Helped by the mysterious Captain Alec (Ronan Lynn) the sisters set sail for TreasureIsland. Of course they are not the only ones with an interest in the treasure! Long Jean Silver, played by Katie Oliver, and her unsavoury crew of pirates are also on the trail of the loot.

The voyage begins in the familiar surroundings of Ballycastle but the search for treasure takes the cast to the more exotic setting of Treasure Island. The island is populated by the Ooga Wooga tribe, led by marooned pirate Benjamina Gun (Ellen Shirley.)

Tickets and further information about performances are available form the school office on 028 276 2254.
