Spokesperson Vincent Strunks said: “As is our tradition it is the one night where we invite musicians to our session, and welcome any Sean nós dancers who may turn up as has happened in the past.

“The musicians playing are stalwart supporters of our session and we welcome back well known musicians and singers Martin McGinley, Tom Byrne and Micheal Gallanagh, who always provide great virtuoso performances.

“As usual our singers will be in fine voice and we welcome everyone to come along and enjoy and embrace all aspects of our rich cultural heritage.

“We would also like to thank everyone who supported us during the year both singers and listeners and to give our seasons greetings to everyone and look forward to next year.”
