Open auditions for Craigavon Has Got Talent

Open auditions for all ages will take place next weekend to see which acts will qualify for the grand final on Friday, June 27.

The competition is open to all sorts of acts such as; solo singers, duets, groups, dancers, dance crews, musicians, gymnasts, etc.

The auditions will take place at the Moyraverty Centre, Craigavon beside St Brendan’s Primary School on Saturday, May 31 at 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

They will continue on the next day Sunday, June 1 only this time at the Brownlow Community Hub at 4pm to 6.15pm. If interested just come along to any of the audition dates.

There is £300 in prize money with £200 going to the winning act and £100 for the runner up. There will be prizes for the top five acts.

The venue for the grand final will be the prestigious Craigavon Civic Centre with a 7.30pm start on June 27.

Tickets for the grand final will go on sale next week or you can just come along and pay at the door.

Kieran Corr one of the show producers speaking to the ‘Mail’ said: “On behalf of the production team we request that all acts who intend to audition must be fully prepared and we wish all acts the best of luck.

“The competition has been an overwhelming success over the years and the event this year should prove to be no different, as there are so many talented people in Craigavon.”
