Open Golf Fest

COLERAINE Borough Council is hosting ‘off course’ entertainment during the Irish Open Golf from Wednesday until Sunday in Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart.

 From 2pm until 4pm on Saturday, June 30, Coleraine Town Centre will be the central location for the Martello Jazz Band; face painting; balloon modelling; and street animated walkabout characters. 

For something different, Coleraine Leisure Centre will host ‘Party Golf’, a challenging game of nine holes in miniature crazy gol.

During Saturday evening, Portrush hosts Big Band Night, with live music commencing at 8pm in Station Square and followed by a firework extravaganza from West Bay at 10.30pm.

Entertainment will take place over the five days from 6.30pm each evening and from 2pm on Saturday and Sunday in a number of locations in Portrush and in Portstewart.
