Oxegen named best festival & best line-up in Europe

OXEGEN has been named the best festival in Europe overall, beating the likes of Glastonbury and V in the UK, according to a new study from Havas Sports and Entertainment, one of the world’s leading marketing and research specialists.

The company’s summer 2011 European Music Festival study analyses 64 large music festivals, collecting data via online research and direct contact with organisers and attendees. Festivals were ranked on criteria including line-up, value and organisation, with the aim being to offer a guide to festivals for consumers and brands.

Oxegen took the number one slot, with an A+ ranking, followed by Glastonbury (A+), V Festival (A) and Belgium’s Rock Werchter (A).
