Paul making waves

LURGAN musician Paul Hull is making waves with his debut single.

'All The Lies That You Told Me,' is a cover of the Christie Hennessy classic.

"I've been in close contact with his family," said Paul.

"His daughter Hermione told me they love what I've done with the song. She said it made her cry in a good way. Hermione is a class act in her own right. I've been to see her perform and I was blown away."

Paul's single is produced by Jonny Toman from Cat Malojian and mastered by John Astley, who has produced Eric Clapton. World famous fiddle player Cathal Hayden is also involved.

"When it comes to recording it has to be done right," said Paul. "This is a song I've always known and always loved. I've given it a rebirth and made it my own version."

Paul is well known as a solo performer but more recently he has formed a successful double act with Paula Magill.

On October 30 Paul will be providing the entertainment at a Masquerade Ball in aid of the Brain Injury Clinic organised by local woman Maruka Heaney.
