Phoenix revive a classic show
JUNIOR Phoenix Players are about to kick off their season and the offering this year is The Pirates of Penzance – a timeless favourite, and a show which will appeal to a very broad range of musical taste.
It will be performed on the last two weekends of August from Thursday to Saturday in The Town Hall Theatre.
In preparation, there are two further dates to remember Friday, May 25, at 8pm Phoenix are holding their Annual Quiz in Portadown Rugby Club which is largely a fund-raiser, but also serves as a get together for potential cast and parents, and secondly and most importantly, auditions are being held the following afternoon Saturday, May 26, at 1pm in St Columba’s School, Carleton Street, Portadown.
All those under the age of 21 are welcome.
Even those that aren’t interested in performing are welcome for helping to build scenery, or helping with make-up, wardrobe etc.
