The donation from the Coleraine hotel is part of Premier Inn’s wider donation of over 1500 pillows, which will help the Simon Community with its work with homeless people across Northern Ireland.

Every three years, all pillows in Premier Inn hotels are replaced; instead of disposing of these, the hotel chain has decided to donate pillows from each of their seven Northern Ireland hotels to the homeless charity.

The pillows will be utilised by Simon Community in its Coleraine project and its other projects across Northern Ireland, with the surplus being sold in its charity shops to help raise vital funds to aid their services to help homeless people.

Commenting on the initiative, Cathy Hopkins, cluster general manager for Premier Inn Northern Ireland said: “We’re thrilled that our pillows are going to such an exceptionally good home. Simon Community does fantastic work, helping homeless people across Northern Ireland and with projects in several of the towns and cities in which we have hotels – Belfast, Derry, Coleraine and Lisburn. We’re delighted that Premier Inn pillows will help homeless people in these areas and beyond.”
