Plenty on at Stute

THURSDAY sees the return of the monthly folk and blues session in the Institute members' bar with Folkin' About.

The music is provided by the Stute’s own resident clan of seasoned musicians but anyone is welcome to join in.

Things start about 9pm so if you fancy a great night’s craic be there early

The Institute Shield five-a-side soccer tournament takes place on Saturday, June 12 in Lurgan Park.

Teams of six players including a substitute are invited to take part in this fun tournament.

The entry fee is 12 per team and the competition starts at 9am with teams meeting at the swimming pool changing rooms. Application forms can be obtained from the club at any time. No professional players can enter.

The five-a-side will be followed by a table quiz back at the Stute and teams are welcome to enter.

The quiz starts at 2pm and the entry fee of 2 per person will include a finger buffet which will be served during the break. Any other non footballing teams are welcome to enter the quiz.
