‘Plug and Dom’ are all set for Anchor gig

They may be considered part of the furniture on the local entertainment scene, and Plug and Dom very definitely deserve the award for the most popular act.

They may be just a duo, but they have a very full sound and this is due not least to the keyboard wizardry of Dominic Loughrey, who spends many hours in his studio perfecting the sounds and special effects.

The other half of the duo is the infamous Plug Torrens, of course, who is probably best known for his acerbic humour and the ability to “take a hand out of people”.

The local duo will be joined by Brian Moore next door in the Anchorage for the next two Friday nights as the venue relaunches it popular Fab Fridays.

Don’t forget Club Aura has reopened, and it is looking fabulous after a refurb.
