Promoting volunteering in the Causeway Coast and Glens

Volunteers’ Week is a national celebration of volunteers and volunteering which takes place from June 1st to 7th each year. It plays a huge part in raising the profile of volunteers as well as encouraging others to get involved.

It is a time to say ‘Thank you’ and to publicly recognise the difference made by volunteers. This year is the 30th Anniversary of Volunteer’s Week and to celebrate Causeway Volunteer Centre and Limavady Volunteer Centre are working together to promote volunteering in the Causeway Coast & Glens area.

We are involving 30 volunteers from each council area, which are Coleraine, Ballymoney, Limavady and Moyle in a unique photo-shoot at the Giants Causeway on the 2nd June. So we are inviting you and your volunteers to book your place as they will fill up fast. There will be FREE transport and a FREE lunch.

If you volunteer in the Coleraine, Ballymoney & Moyle areas you can book a place through the Causeway Volunteer Centre, 028 703 58285 or email [email protected]. If you volunteer in the Limavady area you can book a place through the Limavady Volunteer Centre, 028 777 65438 or email [email protected]. Places are limited, so booking is essential (max 2 per organisation).
