R Space Gallery launches autumn workshop series

WHY not indulge in a little ‘me time’ by booking yourself and a friend into one of the new craft workshops at R-Space at The Linen Rooms, Lisburn, 32 Castle Street, scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 27, and running throughout half term and into November.

There are workshops to suit all abilities. Why not try a weekend ‘Introduction to printmaking’, ‘Hand Embroidery’ with resident artist Michelle Stephens or have fun with international artist Rachel Gomme, at the ‘Collaborative Making’ workshop, making and knitting unusual yarns?

“This, our first series of workshops, are a great opportunity to engage in craft and making with some very talented and inspirational artists,” explained R-Space’s Co Director Anthea McWilliams. “We hope participants will find them fun and funky, freeing up their creativity. So please come along and get involved.”
