Raising money for Macmillan

Spring is in the air and what better way to celebrate than to come to Portballintrae Village Hall for some fun and raise much needed money for Macmillan Cancer Care.

On Saturday 23 April from 12.30 pm until 4.30 pm there will be something for everyone from a Local Artists Craft Fair, an Easter Bonnet Parade and contest as well as a Decorated Easter Egg Contest (bring you egg already decorated).

There will also be Solar Telescopes with more surprises and fun in store. The Craft Fair starts at 12.30 pm with refreshments available from 1 pm. The BBC’s Sarah Travers will be on hand to judge the Easter Bonnet Parade Contest at 2 pm and Decorated Egg Contest at 2.30 pm.

All money raised will be donated in the name of Noel Rankin, much respected BBC journalist from Bushmills who passed away on Christmas Day. For more information contact: Joyce Rankin at 028 2073 2922.
