Real brothers become Blood Brothers

And that’s exactly what is happening in a fantastic new adaptation of ‘Blood Brothers’ by Ballymoney’s acting brothers, Neil and Paul McMaster.

The brothers are producing - and starring in - ‘Blood Brothers’ which will go on stage in Coleraine’s Riverside Theatre on November 14 and 15 for three performances.

The plot tells the story of the Johnston twins “as like each other as two new pins, how both were born on the self same day, how one was kept, one given away...”

A single mother in financial desperation gives away one of her new-born sons and attempts to keep them from discovering one another’s true identity.

However, their lives become unavoidably linked and her secrecy leads them to a tragic ending.

This is a powerful and moving story which combines moments of joy and sadness beaautifully.
