Red Bull BC One announces additional act at free Belfast event

SHLOMO, one of the Uk’s finest beatboxers, recreating entire songs with just his vocal chords, has just been announced as one of the many acts to perform at the Red Bull BC One Cypher Ireland event, which is coming to Belfast on May 8.

Red Bull BC One is the most prestigious one on one B- Boy World Championship dance off. It promises to shake up Belfast’s Ulster Hall with a first class line up of entertaimnent comprising of a variety of hip hop, dance, breaking moves, pulsating music and you can get in on the action for free, if you apply for tickets before they disappear!

Around 1200 spectators from all over Ireland are expected to attend to see which B-Boy or B-Girl will be chosen by the Red Bull BC One judges to go on to represent Ireland at the qualifying rounds in Barcelona and maybe get through to the final in Russia, later in the year!

Shlomo joins MC Trix from Nottingham, a world famous B-Boy and MC in the international breakdance scene. His presence and his ability to move the crowd is legendary. DJ Timber, will also be flying back to his home town of Belfast from Barcelona where he now lives. The ‘One Man Army”, half DJ, half B-Boy, fully entertaining, self proclaimed “Fresh Prince of Belfast” has a reputation as one of the hardest working DJ’s on the B-Boy scene.

Judges include highly respected forerunner in the UK Breaking scene and ex Red Bull BC One participant, B-Boy MOUSE along with his crew ‘Floorgangz’. A professional dancer, Mouse who has worked with the legendary Madonna will be joined by fellow judges Extremo and Crazy, all of whom are dedicated to bringing fresh blood into the competition by opening it up to previously unknown talents.
