Red carpet welcome awaits Derek Ryan at Seagoe Hotel

And they look set to reach another landmark when they appear in concert at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown on Thursday March 13.

It’s a date that Derek has encircled in his diary for some time because of the strong demand within county Armagh to see him perform his sophisticated concert show.

Within the past year, of course, Derek has attained further success in the recording sphere, made several hugely impressive television appearances and picked up a number of awards.

His latest CD ‘Country Soul’ is regarded as one of the best ever released by an Irish country music artiste and includes a number of self-penned numbers.

The quality of his music and the vitality and professionalism which he brings to his stage performances guarantee that his current series of concerts will prove a major success.

He has already played to packed houses in the Killyhevlin House, Hotel Enniskillen and La Mon Hotel, Belfast and the indications are that he will ignite a similar reaction in the Seagoe Hotel.

Indeed, Derek is now more and more in demand as a concert artiste. His repertoire includes all the numbers which have propelled him to the top of the entertainment tree including ‘The Belle of Liverpool’, ‘It’s Friday’, ‘God’s plan’, ‘Dreamers and believers’ and ‘Kiss me Mary’.

He will be joined on stage at the Seagoe Hotel by popular Radio Ulster country music show presenter Hugo Duncan, an inimitable entertainer in his own right.

The Seagoe Hotel, which is situated close to Craigavon Area Hospital on the old Lurgan Road leading out of Portadown, is offering special meal and accommodation deals in conjunction with Derek’s appearance there on Thursday March 13.
