Remembering men who served in war

'˜Donaghcloney Remembers The Somme' Committee are presenting another unique event with an evening of Music, Song, Poetry and Historical Presentation which will remember a number of Donaghcloney men who served in the Great War.

The event being held on Friday, 11th November, will be staged in Donaghcloney Orange Hall.

Starting at 7.30pm, the main event will feature a local folk group ‘Never too Late’, who will portray events of the Great War through music and song.

Great War poems from the local area will also be recited with a special feature of a short presentation capturing a number of the local soldiers who served.

The Armistice Day evening event will conclude with a short Act of Remembrance, followed by a light supper.
