Ritchie Remo concert to raise vital funds for TinyLife charity

Gemma Mornin has experienced first hand how a family has to cope with the arrival of a premature or sick baby or babies.

Gemma’s selfless volunteering has seen her matched with two local families both with premature twins.

And now the kind student has decided to organise a fundraiser herself to raise much needed funds to help the charity continue with its services in the North Coast.

The fundraiser in aid of TinyLife will feature one of Ireland’s favourite entertainers, Ritchie Remo in concert at the Magherabuoy House Hotel in Portrush on Friday, October 23 from 8.30pm.

TinyLife is a small, local charity offering practical and emotional support to families who have experienced premature birth or sickness at birth.

The charity relies heavily on the generosity of local people and businesses to continue providing support to families in need.

The money raised from the Portrush concert will enable the family support team to reach more local families who need help at a crucial time.

TinyLife are currently running a volunteer recruitment campaign across Northern Ireland and are looking for people willing to give up some of their spare time to support a family locally or help with fundraising activities.

Formerly known as NIMBA, TinyLife is Northern Ireland’s only premature and sick baby charity and is based in Carryduff.

The charity funds research into premature birth and also provides a wide range of support services for families of premature and sick babies, including a breast pump loan service, hospital based support, home base volunteer support, baby massage, parents support group and baby sensory room service.
