Roll up for Raft Race!

Portrush Raft Race weekend will take place on May 28 and 29.

With fun for all the family, the main raft race will launch from West Strand on Saturday 28 May, with rafts of all shapes and sizes navigating through the waves and into our harbour.

On Sunday 29 May, and back by popular demand ‘The Waiters Race’ sponsored by The Harbour Bar is an event not to be missed with staff from local bars and restaurants competing for a coveted first place.

Sponsored by The Causeway Spar Retail Group and Coleraine Borough Council, it is hoped Portrush Raft Race Weekend 2011 will be bigger and better than ever.

With a varied range of events and activities for all ages; exhibitions and music, why not come along and enjoy the craic!

The Raft Race Committee have also launched their own website.

The website has been very kindly sponsored by crew member Ben Wilson, who as well as turning out for shouts, runs a successful architects business in Portrush.
