Rotary Club to hold International Evening

COLERAINE Rotary Club is holding an International Evening this week and everyone is invited to come along to try out a worldwide range of delicious food.

The International event will be held at Agherton Church Hall in Portstewart on Friday night, November 18, starting at 7pm and it will be a celebration of tastes and food from across the globe.

Guests will enjoy three courses starting with an entrée choice of Vietnamese Summer roll with dipping sauce, Canadian Paté with Irish wheaten bread or Indian Vegetable Samosa

A choice of main course from Thia Red Curry with beef, Corsican Lamb stew with haricots, Morocan Chicken with Lemon Tagine, Red lentil Curry from Rajasthan, South African Cape Malay Chicken Curry and Seasonal Indian Vegetable Curry.

Dessert choice is from Indonesian Agar Agar, Irish Apple Cinnamon cake and Indian Gulab Jamun

Finishing off the meal, guests will have Coffee or Tea with Japanese Green Tea biscuits. Select wines and beers will be available.

The evening will also feature musical entertainment with a decided international flavour.
