‘Rural Life in the 1940s’ Exhibition
An exhibition based on the late Andrew W. Allen’s book ‘Farming in County Antrim before and during the Second World War’ will open on November 15 in the Exhibition Gallery at the Mid-Antrim Museum in The Braid.
Andrew spent 40 years as a teacher and later became the Historical Research Officer for Ballymena Borough Council.
The exhibition, to which admission is free, features a range of objects from the museum’s collection, relating to rural life in the 1940’s.
