Rebekah Durston will also be playing the violin solo part in the Theme from Schindler’s List with the orchestra.

“This is an ideal concert for the whole family and a great opportunity to hear some of your favourite film music performed live by some of Northern Ireland’s most talented instrumentalists and teachers,” said a spokesperson.

The orchestra is also providing a platform at this concert for talented young instrumentalists from Ballymena, who will be performing the ‘Raider’s March’ from Indiana Jones.

The aim is to encourage and inspire the next generation of orchestral players
