Coagh residents must think the organisers of this year’s ‘Scrufts’ dog show at Tamlaght Hill, Coagh, on Saturday, September 13 are barking mad.

Show organisers have built a giant dog, nicknamed “Baley”, in a field beside the Coagh-Moneymore road.

The bale-art has been attracting a lot of local attention and you can see it yourself between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, September 13, at Scrufts Dog Show, Tamlaght Hill, Coagh.

So much more than a dog show, there is entertainment for all the family at Scrufts. With an emphasis on fun, doggy competitions are open to all shapes and sizes and you can enter your dog on the day, no need to pre-book.

On hand will be experts providing dog health checks, whilst dog shows will entertain. Something for everyone, there will be plenty to do, with summer fete stalls, bouncy castles, barbeque and more!

Organised by local canine experts, Short BarkAnd Sides, all proceeds are going towards improving the facilities of Tamlaght Parish church hall for the benefit of the wider community.
