See Boat Factory at Town Hall

Happenstance Theatre Company team up with Titanic Foundation to present Dan Gordon’s new play about shipyard life in Belfast and it will be performed locally at Ballymoney Town Hall on March 26. Tickets are priced at £8 adults and £3 children (12-16) available from the Ullans Centre, Ballymoney.

Dan Gordon performs in the play alongside local actor Michael Condron and together they conjure up a host of colourful characters from the glory days of the shipbuilding era. At the height of production, nearly 35,000 men worked on the 300 acre site, complete with power station, docks, machine shops, engine works and saw mills.

Thanks to support from Titanic Foundation and the National Lottery/Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Happenstance Theatre Company will tour, throughout March, to community venues across Northern Ireland, delivering more than 20 performances of the play - whetting the appetite of audiences, in the City and beyond, to the exciting prospect of the iconic new visitor attraction which will stand proudly beside the slipway from which the Titanic was launched.
