CELEBRITY spotters will be in for a treat this Friday at Dorman’s and The Opera in Magherafelt on Friday for as there will be a special guest appearance from ‘Mickey Maguire’, star of the hit Channel 4 series Shameless.

Actor Ciaran Griffiths has built up a massive fanbase following the success of the comedy drama and Dorman’s clubbers will have the chance to meet and chat with him at the new BE-REEM cocktail bar.

Mickey’s appearance will highlight the official launch of We Love Fridays fun nights at Dorman’s, the current Northern Ireland Pub of the Year (Pubs of Ulster awards).

Other attractions on the night will include street magician Rod Hogg, who is guaranteed to amaze customers with his tricks, and new resident Friday DJ Mike McKee, from the M Club in Belfast

Dorman’s manager Ciaran Kelly said: “Our aim on We Love Fridays is to provide the very best in music, fun and entertainment.

“Mickey Maguire has been a big draw on personal appearances throughout the UK and we know that our customers will look forward to meeting him.”

There will be more entertainment at Dorman’s the following day on St Patrick’s Day. There will be live traditional music all day with the Bingo Wings on stage from 3–5pm.

The Ireland v England rugby match will be on big screens, and at night top DJs will be in action. Ending the big weekend on Sunday night there will be karaoke and songs and jokes from local talented trio Sinclair, Pepe and Bamford.
