Silhouette gig at Listening Post

THE Listening Post is letting the ladies take over this stage at their upcoming gig this Friday (March 23rd).

The gig, which begins at 8.30pm, will feature one of Northern Ireland’s rising musical stars - Silhouette.

Hot off supporting Snow Patrol on their recent European Tour and having performed at both the Q Awards and the MTV European Music Awards alongside Gary Lightbody, Silhouette’s new single ‘Can’t Keep Up’ can be heard as the theme on NI Tourist Board’s ‘Discover Northern Ireland 2012’ television advert.

Silhouette is the vision and work of a passionate Northern Irish songstress – Shauna Tohill. Her main focus is to inspire, touch and mend the hearts of anyone who is drawn in to listen. Silhouette’s music is a breath of fresh air combining different musical elements and instrumentation drawn from Tohill’s eclectic taste and experiences. It is high energy alternative pop laced with flavours of darkness, hope and desire. It MUST be experienced!!

Supporting Silhouette on the LP stage will Naoimh O’Hagan, a Northern Irish songstress with her ego firmly planted on the ground and her ambitions floating somewhere up above the clouds.

Naoimh’s honest sound walks the line between pop-infused folk singer and suppressed indie rocker. Serenity in simplicity that will permeate you to the core.

The Listening Post has been running since 2010 and works to offer a venue to live original music on the northcoast and continues to host some of the best original artists that Northern Ireland has to offer.
