Silver Surfers' getting on line!

BALLYMONEY library is inviting people over 50 to take part in this year's Silver Surfers' Day.

Silver Surfers’ Day is the biggest, national campaign to promote the use of digital technologies by older people. It is run by Digital Unite and was started in 2002. Silver Surfers’ Day is in its ninth year and takes place this year on Friday, May 21.

During Silver Surfers’ Day you will be ble to come along and spend an hour in the library with a tutor who will take you through simple step-by-step instructions to help find out more about how to use a computer. So if it’s the web, internet surfing or doing an email why not sign up for the free one-hour session.
