Sinocence hook up with Blaze

LURGAN band Sinocence are to go on tour with former Iron Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley.

The 'Promise and Terror' tour kicks off on Saturday with both Bayley and Sinocence promoting their new albums in JB's in Dudley.

The tour will also see them stopping off at prime venues, Nottingham's Rock City and London's Camden Underground.

They'll be close to home when they play the Limelight on Thursday, March 4 and Dublin's Fibber Magee's on Saturday, March 6.

With Sinocence writing material for their third album, they plan to use the tour, not only as a promotional tool but an opportunity to write more new material, while airing a new song in the set 'Don't Wake the Bullet' to gauge public reaction.

While on tour Sinocence will be interviewed by a number of radio stations and are in discussions with a film company about the possibility of a live DVD.

Blaze is back on the road after the tragic loss of his wife/manager just last year.

Singer Gareth Morrow told the 'MAIL': "Anthony and I flew to Birmingham to meet with Blaze and Anna, his manager a matter of months ago, while they were wrapping up last years shows.

"The general optimism and enthusiastic attitude around the UK tour is feeling very positive and after both bands having a few weeks off over Christmas, I think everyone is keen to get back on board and play the very best shows that we can.

"I've been friends with Bayley's drummer, Lawrence Patterson, for quite a few years now. Lawrence is talented drummer and published author from New Zealand whom I have toured the UK and Ireland with on a number of occasions in the past. So we were privileged to hear that he had mentioned us in Bayley's recently published biography."

After the tour Sinocence intend on doing a number of additional shows in Ireland such as the Distortion Project's 'Decade of Aggression' on the May 8 in Belfast and a short tour in Germany and Holland with their friends The Fyredogs.
