Sixes and Sevens: Final call

The last few places for the At Sixes and Sevens project during the UK City of Culture 2013 are available for local singers aged between 12 and 18.

A major commission undertaken by The Honourable the Irish Society the project marks the 400th anniversary of the unique relationship between the City of London and Londonderry. A band and chorus of 60 young musicians will take to the stage on July 3 along with Camerata Ireland and Codetta and the London Symphony Orchestra and chorus, who will be performing at the same time in London. The young people involved are about to embark on writing their own creative response to be performed on July 3 and need a few more young singers to complete the group. If you enjoy singing and are aged between 12 and 18 contact Sarah Murphy on 07811107065 and [email protected] or visit www.wall2wallmusic.org to apply.

The project is being organised by the Verbal Arts Centre and Wall2Wall Music, local partners on the project alongside Camerata Ireland, The London Symphony Orchestra and Barbican/Guildhall Creative Learning.
