BBC Radio Ulster’s Hugo Duncan set sail for his first live outside broadcast on Rathlin island.

On the road this summer for a series of outside broadcasts Hugo took his popular country music programme on the water to travel by boat to Rathlin Island, off the north Antrim coast.

Surprise music guests joined Hugo and band Country Harmony for a fun filled afternoon of live country music.

Hugo says: “This was my first time to perform on Rathlin Island and I really lenjoyed it. It was a whole new experience, but the boat was an obstacle as I am not a great man for sailing!”
