THE Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre in Armagh has launched its new programme alongside the re-vamped and newly-refurbished ‘Footlights’ Bar and Bistro, all adding up to the complete night’s entertainment under one roof.

Dramas in the new season include ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ by Saltmine Theatre Company on Thursday, October 6, Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ by Icarus Theatre Collective on Tuesday 11 October, ‘A Night With George’ on Thursday 20 October, ‘The Man Who Left The Titanic’ on Friday, October 21, ‘Both Sides Of The Story’ by Ransom Productions on Tuesday, November 1, ‘The Boat Factory’ starring Dan Gordon on Wednesday, November 2 and ‘The History Of The Troubles’ on Monday and Tuesday, November 14 and 15.

Forthcoming concerts include Catherine Grimley on Thursday, November 13, Abba The Show on Sunday, October 30 and Cara Dillon on Thursday, November 10.

Comedy is always a popular part of The Market Place Theatre programme. The theatre presents Jake O’Kane on Friday, October 7, Jarlath Regan on Saturday, October 15 and Colin Murphy on Saturday, December 17.

The theatre has teamed up with Footlights Bar & Bistro to present The Complete Party Night All Under One Roof! Party Package Includes: Ticket For A Show and Two-Course Gourmet Style Buffet.
