Spring lecture at The Old Courthouse

IN association with the Irish Garden Plant Society (IGPS), the Spring Lecture will be held at The Old Courthouse, Antrim.

This year’s lecture is ‘Between a Rock and a Hard Place’ - The story of Caher Bridge Garden by Carl Wright.

Situated in the heart of the Burren in the beautiful Caher Valley, County Clare, this award-winning one acre plantsman’s garden was begun from scratch in 1999.

In this illustrated lecture, Carl traces the story of the creation of the garden and deals with the construction, design, methods used, planting and on-going developments. He also shows a selection of plants which have been successful there in the ‘less than ideal’ conditions.

Th lecture will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 7.30pm
