This March, enjoy a glimpse into the fascinating history of Christian Heritage in Limavady with celebrated Coleraine historian Bob Curran.

The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre are hosting an informative talk on ‘The Rise of Christianity’ on Thursday, March 12 at 7.30pm followed by an insightful bus tour focusing on how Christian Heritage has shaped the built history of Limavady and the Roe Valley on Wednesday, March 18 at 10am.

Dr Bob will discuss the connections between historical Christianity and temporal power, how faith has affected the rulings of emperors, kings and rulers and has become part of historical and contemporary power structures.

Dr Curran’s previous works on faith and its influence on our society have been well regarded and have given him substantial knowledge on the topic. Dr Bob Curran continues his discussion on the topic on a Christian Heritage bus tour of Limavady, during which participants will have the opportunity to visit a number of churches and Christian Heritage sites.

Tickets cost £5 full price and £3 concession and advance booking is essential.
