Stendhal festival

Limavady has been buzzing this week in anticipation of the second annual Stendhal Festival of Art which is taking place this Friday and Saturday at Ballymully Cottage Farm situated between the town and Drumsurn.

Having successfully launched the event last summer the team at Stendhal have been working steadily for months now in preparation for the weekend and looking at everything that they have lined up for the event, the team are confident in saying that it is shaping up to be the most diverse arts and musical event the area has ever seen.

55 musical acts including Mundy, the legendary Henry McCullough, rising stars Trucker Diablo, Rainy Boy Sleep, Silhouette and Furlo will take to 5 stages over the weekend and showcase music from a plethora of genres including Folk, Rock, Gospel, Classical, Hip-hop, Electro, Bluegrass, Metal, Jazz, Blues and Reggae.

Music however is just one feature of a Festival which endeavours to bring as many aspects of the arts as possible under its banner. A weekend pass including camping costing only £25, a Saturday ticket £20 and a Family pass £35 (Family pass includes tickets for 2 adults and up to 4 children under 18 and includes free camping for both nights).
