Straid YFC members get creative for CowParade

MEMBERS of Straid Young Farmers’ Club (YFC) and Randalstown YFC have taken part in the Northern Ireland CowParade art project.

Facilitated by the Carrickfergus, Antrim and Newtownabbey (CAN) Peace III Partnership, YFC members had the opportunity to design and decorate life-size cow sculptures.

The colourful cow creations were unveiled at this year’s Balmoral Show and have since spent the summer touring Northern Ireland. Randalstown YFC and Straid YFC also had the opportunity to show off their finished artwork at the Antrim Show at Shane’s Castle.
