Summer fun at MADS

FOLLOWING the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural musical theatre summer scheme, Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society will be hosting another one this year.

This will take place at St Anthony’s Centre from Monday, August 8 to Friday August 12, starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm each day.

The musical theatre week long summer scheme is open to boys and girls aged eight to 16 and will finish with a final showcase performance on the Friday evening at 7.30pm.

This will be with a live band to give a real feel of what it is like to perform in a live musical show and also in front of an audience.

Application forms and a list of the rules are now available from St Anthony’s Centre. The advice is to book early. The summer scheme will be hosted by experienced MADS! production team members such as Jonathan McGuinness, Kieran Corr and Emma Watson.

The cost is £25 with £5 off if there is more than one child from the same family.
